Baby Its Cold Outside I really can't stay But baby it's cold outside I've got to go away But baby it's cold outside The evening has been Been hoping that you'd drop in So very nice I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice My mother will start worry Beautiful what’s your hurry? And father will be pacing the floor Listen to the fireplace roar So really I’d better scurry Beautiful please don't hurry But maybe just a half a drink more Put some records on while I pour The neighbors might think Baby it's bad out there Say, what's in this drink? No cabs to be had out there I wish i knew how Your eyes are like starlight now To break the spell I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell I ought to say, "No, no, no sir" Mind if I move in closer At least i'm gonna say that i tried What's the sense in hurtin' my pride? I really can't stay Baby don't hold out Ah, but it's cold outside I simply must go But baby its cold outside The answer is no But baby its cold outside This welcome has been How lucky that you dropped in So nice and warm Look out the window at that storm My sister will be suspicious. Gosh your lips look delicious My brother will be there at the door Waves upon a tropical shore My Maiden Aunt’s mind is vicious Gosh your lips are delicious Well maybe just an IPA more Never such a blizzard before I've got to get home But baby you’ll freeze out there Say, lend me a comb It’s up to your knees out there. You really been grand I’m thrilled when you touch my hand but don’t you see How can you do this thing to me There’s bound to be talk tomorrow Thing about your life long sorrow at least there will be plenty implied if you caught pneumonia and died I really can’t stay Get over that hold out Ah, but it's cold outside

Before I add the lyrics, I wanted to share the background story to this song: It was early December and I was sitting with my guitar, working on writing another song (Santa versus Godzilla). This song has been in the works for over two years and I was determined to finish it. However after beating myself up about finding a rhyme for "Godzilla throws a right hook at poor father Christmas", I decided I need to walk away and take a break and get in a different mind set. I grabbed a blank sheet of paper, strummed some different chords and BOOM! This song took all of three minutes to write. The melody and the words came so quickly, it was scary... so the band played it a few times and decided we really liked it and wanted to include it on the album. We hope you like it too. Merry Christmas! - Kier SUNDAY NIGHT EDIT: This song was remixed between Sunday morning and Sunday evening. It appears I spoke to soon; it was the easiest to write but the hardest to mix (..so far!) Lyrics.. "I know i didn't start on time" Chorus: You can't stop Christmas from coming you can't slow santa down For those who receive are those who believe You can't slow santa down Everyone knows a Mustang is a very fast car A Ferrari, they're fast too A Lamborghini is nice if you can afford that price but Santa's sleigh will beat them all. Theres a bullet train in Shanghai that goes 310 And one in Germany thats just as fast You know they can't keep up, won't earn that winners cup To Santas sleigh, they'll finish last Got a buddy in the air force, flies an F-16 Swears he took on Santa one night But it takes moire than a jet to break his record yet Santas sleigh left him behind

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Have yourself a merry little Christmas Let your heart be light From now on, our troubles will be out of sight Have yourself a merry little Christmas Make the Yuletide gay From now on, our troubles will be miles away Here were are as in olden days; happy golden days of yore Faithful friends who are dear to us gather near to us once more Through the years we all will be together If the Fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough And have yourself a merry little Christmas now And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

To Mrs. Claus From Santa She keeps the cocoa warm, plays cribbage with the elves She taught Frosty the Snowman how to sing Jingle Bells She knits holiday sweaters for all the flying reindeer And to top it off, Mrs. Claus, you get prettier every year You know I like milk and cookies, don't mind some snow or frost One thing that I know for sure, Santa loves his Mrs. Claus She'll take the penguins sledding on the hill in the yard She taught Frosty some Spanish, now he sings Feliz Navidad When she bakes Christmas cookies, all the elves jump and cheer And to top it off, Mrs. Claus, you get prettier every year You know I like milk and cookies, don't mind some snow or frost One thing that I know for sure, Santa loves his Mrs. Claus As I look yonder east and catch a glimpse of the morning sun I deliver my last few presents, yes, another Christmas Eve is done. I thank all my reindeer and to the North I steer And without a pause, I say Mrs. Claus, you get prettier every year. You know I like milk and cookies, don't mind some snow or frost One thing that I know for sure, Santa loves his Mrs. Claus Yep, You know I like milk and cookies, don't mind some snow or frost One thing that I know for sure, Santa loves his Mrs. Claus Santa loves his Mrs. Claus Santa loves his Mrs. Claus

Santa versus Godzilla Once Upon a Christmas Eve The malls are filled with last minute Christmas shoppers When a giant green lizard emerges from the water The crowds start to panic when they hear all the clatter Of Godzilla trampling another shopping plaza But looking to the north, yes, who should appear? Good old Santa Claus with his flying reindeer..... Santa Claus versus Godzilla, The epic battle of the year Godzilla has those great big claws, Santa has his tiny reindeer Santa and his reindeer head straight toward the giant The bells on Santa sleigh jingle jangle with defiance Godzilla swats at Santa like he's some kind of mosquito Santa yells to Blitzen “Time to load the torpedoes!” The monster leaves a wake of mass devastation “Donner, Cupid Vixen! Attack formation!" Santa Claus versus Godzilla, The epic battle of the year Godzilla has those great big claws, Santa has his tiny reindeer Godzilla throws a right hook at poor Father Christmas He misses him by inches, but boy, was it vicious Santa's on the ropes now; it looks as if he’s beaten Come on Santa get up! We don't want you eaten! The lizard starts to charge, he's got Santa in his sights Oh no! Not on this, holiest of nights Santa Claus versus Godzilla, The epic battle of the year Godzilla has those great big claws, Santa has his tiny reindeer And now here we are at the moment of truth Is this the end of Santa? Oh what will we do? Out there in the distance, a lone church bell rings Prompting the reindeer for some Yuletide caroling The music melts Godzilla’s heart and like the Grinch, he changes He picks up Santa Claus and tries to explain: Santa Claus I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get out of hand The commercialization of Christmas must have driven me completely mad It's not about making money, It's not about dollars and cents It's all about baby Jesus and spending time with family and friends So I hope you can forgive me, for my behavior was just appalling Especially since I almost gave you quite a severe mauling Santa knew Godzilla was telling him the truth, So he said with a chuckle, here's what we're gonna do There's still room on the nice list and some time 'til Christmas Day So let’s clean up this awful mess, and will you help me on my way? My reindeer are all worn out from our big epic battle So mind carrying the sleigh and to you I'll strap a saddle Santa Claus versus Godzilla, the epic battle of the year Godzilla's gonna save Christmas Day, filling in for Santa’s reindeer

Blue Christmas I have a blue Christmas without you I'll be so blue just thinking about you Decorations of red, on a green Christmas tree won't be the same dear, if you're not here with me. And when those blue snowflakes start falling, that's when those blue memories start calling, you'll be doing alright, with your Christmas of white, but I'll have a blue blue Christmas. I’ll have a Blue Christmas, that’s certain And when the Blue Heartache starts hurtin’ You’ll be doing alright, with your Christmas of white, But I'll have a blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas

Up on the House Top Up on the housetop reindeer pause, Out jumps good old Santa Claus. Down thru the chimney with lots of toys, All for the little ones, Christmas joys. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go! Up on the housetop, click, click, click. Down thru the chimney with good Saint Nick. (Noodle & Vamp on the G between verses) First comes the stocking of little Nell; oh, dear Santa, fill it well Give her a dolly that laughs and cries; one that will open and shut her eyes. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go! Up on the house top, click, click, click. Down thru the chimney with good Saint Nick. Next comes the stocking of little Will, oh, just see what a glorious fill Here is a hammer, and lots of tacks; also a ball, and a whip that cracks. Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go! Up on the house top, click, click, click. Down thru the chimney with good Saint Nick. Oh the joy that Santa brings, Wrapped with paper, bow and string The man in red comes once a year, spreading love and Christmas cheer Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go! Up on the house top, click, click, click. Down thru the chimney with good Saint Nick. Soon the last stocking is filled up tight; Its time for Santa to say good night! Up through the chimney Santa flies, a trove of presents left behind Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go? Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go! Up on the house top, click, click, click. Down thru the chimney with good Saint Nick.

Santa's got a little friend, His name is Dominick. The cutest little donkey, You never see him kick. When Santa visits his paisons, With Dominick he'll be. Because the reindeer cannot, Climb the hills of Italy… CHORUS! Jingle bells around his feet, And presents on the sled. Hey! Look at the mayor's derby, On top of Dominick's head. A pair of shoes for Louie, And a dress for Josephine. The labels on the inside says, They're made in Brooklyn… CHORUS! Children sing, and clap their hands, And Dominick starts to dance. They talk Italian to him, And he even understands. Cumpare sing, Cumpare su, And dance 'sta tarantel. When jusamagora comes to town, And brings du ciuccianello… CHORUS! CHORUS: Hey! Chingedy ching, (hee-haw, hee-haw); It's Dominick the donkey. Chingedy ching, (hee-haw, hee-haw), The Italian Christmas donkey. La la la-la la-la la la la la, La la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da!

We three kings of Orient are, Bearing gifts we travel afar. Field and fountain, moor and mountain, Following yonder star. Oh! Star of wonder, star of night, Star of royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Guide us, thy perfect light. Born a king on Bethlehem's plain, Gold I bring to crown Him again, King forever, ceasing never, Over us all to reign. O star of wonder, star of night, Star of royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Guide us, thy perfect light. Frankincense to offer have I. Incense owns a Deity nigh. Prayer and praising all men raising, Worship Him, God on high. O star of wonder, star of night, Star of royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Following yonder star. Myrrh is mine: Its bitter perfume. Breaths a life of gathering gloom. Sorrow, sighing, bleeding, dying, Sealed in a stone-cold tomb. O star of wonder, star of night, Star of royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Following yonder star. Glorious now behold Him arise, King and God and Sacrifice. Alleluia, alleluia! Sounds through the earth and skies. O star of wonder, star of night, Star of royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Following yonder star. O star of wonder, star of night, Star of royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Following yonder star!

A New Elf in the Family - Kier and Mandy Byrnes Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle All the way; Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh! just last February, Mrs. Claus said to me We’ve got a new elf on the way, we’re adding to the family The seasons passed, the leaves all changed, we watched that belly grow We finished painting the nursery, just in time for the first snow We could tell by the skies of the dancing Northern Lights That we’d meet our little guy, by the end of that dear night So we sang our favorite Christmas songs, around the Christmas tree Ode to Joy, it’s a little boy, there’s a new elf in the family… Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho! There’s a new elf in, there’s a new elf in the family… Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho So I sat down next to Mrs. Claus and imagine my surprise You got my rosy cheeks but you have her hair and eyes We laid you by the mistletoe and the reindeer gathered close To meet this baby elf of ours and to kiss him on the nose And when I held you up for the whole North Pole to see Your smiling little face, there was no prouder Dad than me So we sang our favorite Christmas songs, around the Christmas tree Ode to Joy, it’s a little boy, there’s a new elf in, there’s a new elf in the family… Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho! There’s a new elf in the family… Mrs. Claus and I are smitten, with you my little lad And please don't call me Father Christmas; you can just call me your dad For the past nine months we've waited, to hold you in our arms We'll love you always and forever and keep you safe from harm. And someday I’ll take you flying, in my magic sleigh I'll take you all around the world, bring you home on Christmas Day Where we’ll sing our favorite Christmas songs, around the Christmas tree Ode to Joy, it’s a little boy, there’s a new elf in the family Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho! There’s a new elf in the family…

Silver Bells 03:12
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks; Dressed in Holiday style In the air there's a feeling of Christmas Children laughing, people passing; Meeting smile after smile And on every street corner you hear Silver bells, silver bells, It's Christmas-time in the city Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, Soon it will be Christmas day Strings of street lights, even stop lights; Blink a bright red and green As the shoppers run home with their treasures Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch; This is Santa's big scene And above all the bustle you hear... Silver bells, silver bells, It's Christmas-time in the city Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, Soon it will be Christmas day

about

Though the 12 days of Christmas are officially supposed to start on Christmas Day, last year we did our own version of this holiday tradition and recorded a new Christmas Song each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas. Each song appears here, remixed and mastered. Also included as a bonus, are some other holiday songs that we've recorded over the years, as well as a new one we recorded this year.

I hope you enjoy the album and have a great holiday season. All profits from these songs will go to the Greater Boston Food Bank charity (www.gbfb.org) to help people in need this holiday season.

Merry Christmas!
